Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP)
Intended to help parents and others save for the long-term financial security of a person who is eligible for the Disability Tax Credit.

Disability Tax Credit (DTC)
Helps persons with disabilities or their supporting persons reduce the amount of income tax they may have to pay. The tax credit amount includes a supplement for persons under the age of 18 at the end of the year. Being eligible for the DTC opens the door to other programs such as the Child Disability Benefit and the Registered Disability Savings Plans.

Canada Pension Plan Disability Benefits
Monthly payment made to persons under the age of 65 who have made CPP contributions in the past and who now have a long-term disability that prevents them from working. Dependent children of disabled CPP contributors are eligible to receive the Children’s Benefit.
